Job DescriptionFulfill regular classroom duties of an Education Support Professional under the supervision of the classroomteacher at OMaley Middle Schools Language Skills program to support students with language-basedlearning disabilities by providing individualized, intensive instruction in areas like reading, writing,language comprehension and executive functioning.The Language Skills Program supports students with complex cognitive profiles, learning delays andsignificant language based disabilities. Students generally receive academic instruction in a small groupsetting within a sub-separate special education classroom, and are included with their same-age peers to theextent possible during the school day. Specialized instruction is highly individualized and may includerelated services. A low student to staff ratio allows opportunities for student success academically, socially,and emotionally.
