School Secretary - 12 Month

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in keyboarding, email, Microsoft Office and use of internet.
- Ability to use computer based applications for record keeping.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of office equipment (computer, fax, copier)
- Previous experience working in an office.
- High School diploma.
- Successful screening through the District Human Resource employment process
REPORTS TO:
Principal through the Assistant Principal

JOB GOAL:
To contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to organize, proofread, and type correspondence, reports, and other written communications accurately.
- Maintain student attendance records and all related correspondence via Realtime.
- Assist with transfers and updating student information.
- Assist in preparation and filing of requisitions for supplies.
- Assist with Free and Reduced Lunch program.
- Assist with student transfers and registrations.
- Collect and record all incoming papers and various materials.
- Answer phones/intercom in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Assist Principal and Assistant Principal as needed.

As per GTSPA contract.
