Summary
This position will provide customer service and monitor inbound/outbound shipment traffics regarding transportation of 3PL customers with ocean, air and in-land transportation
Responsibilities

• Provide in/outbound operations services
• Provide in/outbound operations services covering ocean in/outbound
• Populate and update systems and track shipments
• Monitor and support container moves on ocean and inland (rail and truck routes) freight
• Prepare required shipping documents including BLs, PODs, commercial invoices, etc
• Develop knowledge of all modes of transportation
• Coordinate with customers regarding inquiries
• Handle customer shipment routing requests, and assign approved service provider for transportation based on carrier matrix and other factors
• Provide delivery updates and history as requested by customer
• Promptly answer to customer via email and phone
• Billing (cost saving management - detention, demurrage, etc)
• Ensure all charges are billed correctly including: detention/demurrage/pre-pull/port open charges
• Prepare required documents including commercial invoices, etc
• Monitor urgent shipment container/trucking moves
• Monitor inbound containers for timely release
• Ensure carrier compliance with customer requirements
• Other duties is assigned

Compensation Range
$45,000 - $52,000/Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred
• 1 year of experience in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Carriers Required
