This position drives vehicles from the staging area into the Production Shop, performs accessory installations, and cleans each work area at the end of each shift. Installations may include all accessories performed for each account according to manufacturer's instructions. Installations in a production atmosphere with specific production goals set.

Responsibilities
- Observing safety precautions, drives vehicle from the staging area into the Production Shop work area
- Prepare vehicle for installation by pulling property accessory part
- Obtain and sign for appropriate materials sheets
- Prepare accessory kits for installation
- Install accessories according to manufacturer's instructions
- Notify Quality Control Inspector once installation is complete
- Correct any deficiencies noted by Quality Control before the vehicle is returned to staging area
- Complete a defect tag if parts are defective and submit to Supervisor, for which part may be considered a warranty claim
- Meet monthly installation production goals
- Must have ability to frequently stand, bend, climb, squat, and lift up to 50lbs
- Ensure installers are installing properly
- When required, perform installations outside
- Assist fellow team members to make sure quality is maintained, and installations are completed in a timely manner
- Observing safety precautions, drives vehicle from the staging area into the Production Shop work area
- Must be able to address issues with other installers
- Communicate with Supervisor or Manager on any issue in PIO
- Return vehicle to staging area
- Assist in our departments as needed
- Assist team members to assure quality is maintained during installations
- Follow all safety and compliance standards
- Observe all safety precautions, while working in the production work area
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follows all policies and procedures regarding safety
- Follow all safety procedures and bring all violations to the attention of management
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to read, write, and verify numbers 17 characters in length Required
- Have general knowledge of automobile components Required
- Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described above Required
- Ability to communicate clear and concise instructions to employees Required
- Ability to follow established guidelines and work safely Required
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and written instructions Required
- Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicle Preferred
- High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
- Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions Required
- Must clear MVR
- 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical field Required
- 2-4 years of experience in Automotive or Mechanical field Preferred
- HAZMAT Training Preferred
