Summary
The Network Design Administrator will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's logistics network. This role involves analyzing existing logistics networks, designing improvements, and ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure. The administrator will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure that the logistics network is optimized for cost, efficiency, and scalability to meet the company's evolving operational needs. This position reports to the Performance and Customer Service Senior Manager.
Compensation Range
$68,000- $74,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Support the design and optimization of the logistics network to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet business objectives
- Analyze existing network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for network expansion, consolidation, and optimization
- Analyze data related to logistics operations, transportation routes, warehouse performance, and supply chain efficiency
- Develop and maintain reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the logistics network, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support decision-making regarding network changes or optimizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Logistics to ensure that network designs align with operational needs and system capabilities
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to implement network changes or improvements, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Act as a liaison between the internal logistics team and external partners to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Assist in the creation of network models to evaluate different logistics scenarios and understand the potential impacts of changes
- Use network simulation tools to analyze the impact of changes on transportation, costs, and customer service, providing recommendations based on model outputs
- Support the implementation of new network design solutions, ensuring that systems are integrated and operating effectively
- Monitor network performance and identify areas where further optimization or adjustment is needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics network design
- Ensure that all network design and optimization processes are documented clearly and comprehensively

Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in network modeling tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, GIS-based tools) Required
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation management, and warehousing Required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and recommend solutions Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Required
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy in reporting and documentation Required
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus Preferred
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Three (3) - Five (5) years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Network Design Required
- Four (4) - Seven (7) years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Network Design Preferred
