Summary
The Supervisor of the Client Accounts team is responsible for analyzing financial data, understanding business operations profitability and leading team projects to completion. Duties also includes managing customer rate schedules, interpreting and executing contracts, analyzing potential new business opportunities, participating in actions to improve Glovis profitability and handling requests for new services from existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Profitability Optimization
- Provide regular reporting and analyzing of financial results, both from a high-level and from detail level
- Prepare and manage pricing tools to aid in effective pricing strategies for new and existing business
- Identify opportunities to optimize revenue and profitability
- Lead studies for special projects, utilizing various data sources including internal systems and team inputs
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate financial performance metrics and insights to management
- Project Management, Rates & Planning
- Support in maintaining Customer/Revenue rate schedules, including contractual rate increases and mid-year rate adjustments
- Support with the handling and organization of Customer contracts and preparing the financial impact of negotiations
- Coordinate with all departments for the preparation of annual business plans (internal and external)
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, approval documents (red folders) and work with Manager to present these ideas internally and externally
- Collaborate with and provide support to internal teams on day-to-day tasks and special projects
- Review and manage the workload of the Client Account team analysts, ensuring cross-training and smooth workflow to meet deadlines
- Run team meetings and track progress of all shared projects
- Other Duties as Assigned
Compensation Range
$74,000- $84,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
Skills
- Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management Required
- Must possess high organizational skills and attention to detail Required
- Must be able to work independently and at the direction of the Manager and/or National Manager/HOD Required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills Preferred
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Ability to logically and systematically solve complex problems that involve competing priorities Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 5-8 years OR equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis Required
- 6-9 years OR equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Planning, Financial Analysis, and/or Vehicle Logistics or the Automotive industry Preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
- Stand/walk
