IT System Developer Assistant Manager
We seek a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic IT team as a "GEA IT System Developer." In this role, you will assume a crucial responsibility by overseeing and troubleshooting issues related to GEA IT systems (GCS, JIS, IVELES, and new systems) and developing procedures and programs to ensure the CC (Consolidation Center) or VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) continuously runs our Automotive Manufacturing plant in Savannah, GA. Your primary focus will involve implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's IT systems and processes within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities for IT System Developer Assistant Manager :
- Develop software for shop monitoring.
- Enhance functionality of current IT systems.
- Install hardware and software.
- Maintain GEA IT network equipment and configurations.
- Develop software for environmental data and assembly repair reports.
- Perform purchasing duties for hardware, software, and services.
- Maintain assigned IT systems.
- Design and implement scalable, secure Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop automation scripts for Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure smooth system operations.
- Troubleshoot system issues.
- Install enhancements to existing systems.
- Generate system improvement ideas.
- Run data reports for customers.
- Create procedures and documentation for IT systems.
- Train GEA Technicians and Users.
- Communicate with clients or vendors to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure system accuracy and stability during production.
- Understand requirements of systems related to GEA IT systems and develop solutions to address them.
- Perform both coding tasks and system / infrastructure tasks.
- Fulfill duties expected of an Assistant Manager, including team coordination and project management.
- Other duties as assigned.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The estimated base salary range for this job is $86,000-$95,900. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
