The Transportation Manager Bilingual is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of all loads to their destinations. This role involves monitoring all aspects of logistics, including the review and approval of carrier bids and logistics analyses. The manager will maintain the payment processing system, oversee special move operations—including urgent load requests—and manage claims processing for damages at all levels.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting regular audits of customers and carriers, and enhancing accounts receivable collection and billing accuracy. The manager will negotiate carrier contracts, analyze traffic lanes and distribution strategies, and establish service goals and standards for carriers. Additionally, the role includes conducting carrier service reviews and collaborating with carrier management to evaluate performance.
The Transportation Manager Bilingual will analyze operational costs and profits to identify opportunities for cost savings and improve operational procedures. They will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing the efficient operation of transportation assets, including trucks, trailers, and chassis.
A strong leader, the manager will set team goals, motivate team members to achieve common objectives, and work closely with other managers to implement effective policies and procedures. The role includes organizing monthly safety meetings to address accidents, incidents, and other current issues related to carrier safety.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of all loads to ensure timely delivery to destinations (Daily operation).
- Review and approval of logistics analysis, carrier bid analysis.
- Payment system processing and maintenance.
- Special move operation and payment (Including Urgent load request operation)
- Review of claim processing and finalizing for all level damages.
- SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) documentation upkeep.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits (Customers and Carriers)
- Improve Old AR Collection and Billing accuracy.
- Carrier contract negotiation, bid analysis, traffic lane and distribution analysis.
- Establish Carrier service goals and standards; set measurement criteria.
- Conduct carrier service reviews with carrier management (Carrier Evaluation)
- Analysis of cost and profit / Improving operation procedure for Cost saving
- Developing new customers and new business
- Manage and operate assets (trucks trailers and chassis) more efficiently.
- Set team goals and encourage each team member to meet the common target.
- Collaborate with other managers to implement policies and procedures.
- Manage monthly Carrier Safety meeting (Accidents, Incidents, current issues etc.)
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations, distribution management (Including Asset Maintenance and Related Regulation such as DOT and all government regulations for road safety- plus at least 5 years of managerial experience)
- Experience with TMS, or similar transportation related computer database management systems.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
- Detailed knowledge and experience with general business application programs, including Microsoft office
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred.
- Fluent in both Korean and English.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,700 -$112,300. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
