What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior UAT and Integration Tester position at Glow Services Corp?
We are seeking an experienced Individual contributor to plan and execute User Acceptance and Integration Testing of our innovative SaaS products. Senior UAT Tester will be responsible for ensuring that our solutions integrate with each other well and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
User Acceptance and Integration test Planning:
- ·Working closely with key stakeholders like technology director, delivery leads and Product managers to understand client delivery needs, timelines, and plan User Acceptance Testing.
- Create detailed UAT test plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective testing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, development, and operations.
- Understand how internal and third-party systems and solutions interact to factor integration check points within overall End-to-End test plans.
Test Execution and reporting:
- Identify and document test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
- Translate acceptance criteria of a change request to business understandable User Acceptance Test cases and document them for execution and traceability.
- Woking with internal development teams to understand integration test activities between internally developed web applications and third-party applications.
- Perform test execution based on the test plans agreed with key stakeholders, including managing test data, environments, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
- Identification, tracking, and resolution of defects and issues encountered during testing.
- Ensure thorough documentation of test results, including test logs, defect reports, and final UAT summary reports.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for UAT activities, providing regular updates and detailed reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate UAT sign-off by ensuring all stakeholders are informed and in agreement with the test outcomes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a UAT testing role.
- Proven experience in the FinTech sector, with a strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and security requirements.
- Experience with SaaS delivery models and cloud-based testing environments.
- Solid background in test case creation, maintenance, and defect tracking
- Strong knowledge in producing and managing test artifacts such as Test Completion Reports.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in testing tools and software (e.g., JIRA, X-Ray, TestRail).
- Strong knowledge of UAT methodologies, test planning, and execution.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data and Api tools like: SQL, Postman
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in software testing or project management are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
