Job Summary: Join our team as a Staff Accountant where you will play a crucial role in financial management and compliance. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounting and regulatory reporting to ensure accurate financial records and adherence to legal requirements. Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee financial statements, reports, and records - Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with laws and regulations - Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial data - Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft for financial analysis and reporting - Handle payroll processing efficiently and accurately - Apply knowledge of Wills, trusts, estate law, and governmental accounting principles - Execute debits and credits transactions accurately - Utilize financial acumen to provide strategic insights for decision-making Skills: - Strong background in accounting principles and practices - Familiarity with Wills, trusts, estate law, and governmental accounting standards - Proficiency in regulatory reporting requirements - Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting software - Knowledge of SOX compliance standards - Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation effectively - Competence in payroll processing procedures - Financial acumen to provide valuable insights for business decisions We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
