What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician position at GMA Interventions?
General Statement of Duties:
Clinician will provide phone triage and high level clinical services to adult clients with mental health, co-occurring and substance use disorders. Provide short term assessment for individuals seeking services and/or comprehensive intakes, crisis intervention as needed, and group, individual and family counseling; Provide group counseling for offenders and court ordered individuals. Provide limited case management services and referral for targeted case management; Report all clinical and administrative functions via electronic health record and paper reporting mechanisms. Manage a clinical record for each client meeting quality assurance standards for state licensure, CARF, and the GMA Interventions Quality Assurance Unit.
Specific Duties with qualitative and quantitative measures of performance
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities required for the position: Must have knowledge and experience in individual and group counseling and supportive recovery services for persons with substance abuse disorders.
Specific Credentials (Licensure/Certifications): CSAC or CSAC-S REQUIRED.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education/experience/etc) Clinician will hold a degree in the behavioral sciences from an institution of higher learning and/or at least 1 year experience in a community-based drug/alcohol treatment setting.
