A Career with the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the Up Center
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic offers a variety of services to post 9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard and their family members. The Clinician will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples and families. The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic has a commitment to training, consultation and proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure. The Clinician will provide evidence-based treatment and will have training Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and should be skilled at offering treatment in a measurement based, time-limited treatment environment. The Clinician must have background and training in utilizing evidence-based interventions in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and adjustment disorders. Certification or documented proficiency in one or more in one or more of the following EBPs: PE, CBT and CPT is required at time of hire or within a year of employment.

What You Will Do
- Provide evidence-based treatment and assessment for military veterans, active-duty military, and their families.
- Perform and document clients' screenings, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress in treatment and referral information.
- Conduct clinical intake assessments as needed.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the caregiver, physician, psychiatrist, case manager, and all other disciplinary treatment team members as needed to provide the best care to clients.
- Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
- Provide services via telehealth platform, as required.
- Work 2-3 late evenings a week to accommodate the schedules of our clients being served in addition to regularly scheduled hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- A Master's degree in social work and licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or licensed to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or licensed to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses and experience in evidenced-based treatment of common childhood diagnoses is required.
- Certification or documented proficiency in CBT and/or other evidence-based practices is required.
- Knowledge of clinical services and resources in the community.
- Experience working with military populations and/or veterans is strongly preferred.
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Must meet background check requirements.
- Must be proficient with Office Suite and preferably experience with electronic health records.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
