Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and demonstrate proficiency in accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records by overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and monitor spending against those budgets.
- Process employee timesheets, manage payroll processing
- Utilize QuickBooks and Sage for daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with established policies.
- Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports as required.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, demonstrating expertise in general ledger accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits and credits, budgeting, and financial report writing.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage; familiarity with other accounting tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies in financial data.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and management.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
