What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acquisitions Analyst position at GMF Group?
GMF Group, a private real estate investment firm that specializes in manufactured housing community investments, is looking to hire an acquisitions analyst at its headquarters in Palm Beach, Florida. The acquisitions analyst will work directly with the firm’s acquisitions associates and senior leaders to source and underwrite new acquisition opportunities.
While this role has a base salary, the majority of the potential compensation package will be tied to performance (i.e., sourcing acquisition opportunities that GMF Group purchases).
Responsibilities :
Sourcing acquisition opportunities by calling and emailing property owners and brokers (cold outreach is a significant portion of the role)
Evaluating and analyzing acquisition opportunities
Touring potential acquisition opportunities and meeting with property owners
Building and updating databases and financial models
Qualifications :
1-3 years of experience in real estate brokerage, acquisitions, or financing required
Bachelor’s degree required with coursework in finance, real estate, economics, or accounting preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with an ability to think on your feet
Self-motivated go-getter with the ability to formulate and execute ideas / business plans as well as spearhead multiple processes at once
Based in or willing to move to the Palm Beach, Florida area
