Committed to innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and optimize our HR functions across all locations. As we continue to grow and open 6-10 new transportation bases annually, we require a highly skilled candidate with a proven track record in managing HR practices for multi-location, multi-state organizations.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals. This individual will oversee a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the HR team to manage daily HR operations.
- Assists with recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Partners with leadership to implement HR strategy across the organization and to local base levels.
- Handles sensitive tasks such as accommodations, leave requests, investigations, and terminations.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance company policies and HR processes.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and general concerns, while fostering a positive work culture.
- Supports managers with performance reviews, coaching, goal setting, and employee development.
- Identifies training needs and coordinates professional development programs to encourage continuous learning.
- Administers benefits programs and implements employee retention initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and maintains accurate HR records, conducting audits as needed.
- Works with leadership to review and update company policies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyzes HR data to provide insights and recommend improvements to HR practices.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HR software systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple states.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
Work Location: In-person and on-site.
Reporting: Reports directly to the TMG Vice President of Human Resources.
Salary:
- Range: $60,000-$70,000
- Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's education, experience, and skills.
