We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing recruitment processes, administering employee benefits, and improving employee engagement across the organization. This position plays a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to enhance performance and employee engagement.
- Manage the recruitment process from job postings to interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee benefits administration for our self-insured health plan and payroll processing.
- Foster a positive workplace environment by implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to managers on performance management best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and stay up-to-date on changes in employment law.
- Address employee inquiries and handle conflict resolution effectively.
- Provide training and professional development programs to help employees grow within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Collaborate with management to enhance organizational effectiveness and implement change initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or HR Certification (PHR/SPHR) is preferred.
- 5 years of HR experience in a managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and best practices in HR management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
