Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage robust inventory control procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct thorough reviews of inventory-related documentation to ensure alignment with operational and accounting standards.
- Report daily cycle counting activities, tracking and resolving discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Establish and maintain a strong QA program to monitor inventory processes, ensuring continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes, reporting any inconsistencies or weaknesses in procedures and suggesting improvements.
- Lead and oversee inventory counts, ensuring accurate and timely results and addressing discrepancies as they arise.
- Partner with the DC leadership to ensure staff adherence to proper control procedures and to improve inventory accuracy across all operations.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments to optimize the efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse system.
- Monitor and analyze system error reports to identify and resolve any inventory-related system failures.
- Research and recommend solutions to optimize inventory management systems, controls, and procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze operating results, identifying areas for improvement and reporting variances from standard operating procedures.
- Undertake special projects as assigned to support the continuous improvement of inventory control processes.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years progressive experience in Inventory Control or related field experience preferred.
- Experience in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives, especially related to inventory management and warehouse operations preferred.
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
