Description of Duties
GNR Public Health is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Immunization Program as an Immunization Program Associate. The incumbent will operate as a part of a collaborative team to support overall immunization program functionality for Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale Counties. Job responsibilities will include conducting school and childcare facility immunization documentation audits in accordance with GNR and DPH standards; assisting in the preparation and submission of required programmatic reports; providing outreach and community driven functionality in support of program requirements; assisting with immunization functions in clinic and outreach settings; and preforming other duties as assigned to meet program and organizational needs. This position will require travel to different sites within our health district for audits, trainings, and other duties as assigned. This position is an Immunization Program grant funded position.
Qualifications
Minimum:
High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information.
Preferred
1 year of experience with the GA Immunization requirements and the recommended Immunization schedule. 1 year experience working in VHN electronic health records and/or in GRITS. Experience conducting immunization audits. Bi-Lingual in English & Spanish. 1 or more years working in a clinical or office environment. Experience working in state or local public health. 1 or more years of working experience providing community outreach on health and wellness topics. 3 or more years of experience with Microsoft Programs.
