We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Technical Consultant to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of both remote and onsite work. As an SAP HANA Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP HANA systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize SAP HANA environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform data migrations, system upgrades, and provide support for SAP HANA implementations.
Configure and tune SAP HANA systems to meet specific business needs and ensure optimal performance.
Monitor system health and performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
Provide troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for SAP HANA systems.
Collaborate with functional consultants to support business processes and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP ECC).
Perform SAP HANA database administration tasks, including user management, backup and recovery, and data security.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration and operational procedures.
Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients on best practices for SAP HANA.
Stay up to date with the latest SAP HANA features, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5 years of experience in SAP HANA technical consulting or SAP HANA administration.
Strong expertise in SAP HANA architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
Experience with SAP HANA Studio, SAP HANA Cockpit, and other related SAP HANA tools.
Solid understanding of database management concepts, including backup, recovery, and security best practices for SAP HANA.
Knowledge of SAP HANA data modeling and integration with other SAP and third-party applications.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and other SAP modules is a plus.
Experience with SAP HANA migrations, system upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
SAP HANA certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA 2.0).
Experience with cloud-based SAP HANA deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
Experience with Agile methodology and working in Agile environments.
