The AI Technical Solution Advisor role focuses on the technology aspects of SAP’s Business AI, supporting the sales organization by providing deep technology solution and architectural expertise, with an additional focus on AI use cases.

What you'll do :

The Customer Advisory AI Technical Solution Advisor works closely with SAP’s sales organization and the partner ecosystem to define account strategy as it relates to Artificial Intelligence. AI SAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business strategy and relevant Business AI technologies. They are trusted advisors for the customer and SAP sales team to map AI technology and architecture to a customer’s Business AI roadmap.

As an AI Solution Advisor, you will focus on the following key areas :

Providing Technological Guidance in Business AI

Provide technical guidance for sales cycles being carried out within a geographic market unit in North America

Support the AI architectural roadmap building in sales cycles end-to-end for marquee accounts

Clarify detailed questions from customers around AI technology, and topics like user authorizations and functional scope of pre-built AI use cases

Triage incoming requests from customers and sales teams around Business AI technology

Help to facilitate bi-weekly office hours with regional sales teams as the technical subject matter expert

Creating an SAP AI Vision for the Customer to build Pipeline

Support building customer demand through presentations of Business AI technology

Understand customer’s technical architecture and business process to create target architectures

Understand customer’s current enterprise landscape and future needs​

Drive the positioning of standard AI approaches leveraging SAP Business AI

Engage in pipeline-building activities such as regional AI community events with technology audiences

Building Key Business AI Deliverables to drive Sales Results

Facilitation and execution of AI Discovery Workshops with technical audiences

Drive Business AI architecture and capability mapping to solution design​

Ensure IT feasibility of the Business AI mapping to SAP solution architecture.

Support customer cloud transformation roadmap definition

Being a Business AI Advisor for the Customer to create Lifetime Value

Support customer workshops and meetings to develop relationships with key technology leaders at the customer

Support updating AI roadmaps & solution maps in your particular domain of functional focus with the customer

Drive solution expansion by highlighting value & linkages to the broader SAP Portfolio

Support the end-to-end lifecycle of solution activation and consumption

What you bring :

A deep technological understanding of AI concepts (Retrieval Augmented Generation, Knowledge Graphs, Vector Databases, LLMs, SLMs, etc.)

A willingness to learn all the relevant functional, embedded AI use cases provided in a particular functional area of SAP’s portfolio (e.g. Supply Chain, Human Capital, Finance, etc.)

Experience working with traditional narrow AI (e.g. ML projects, predictive analysis, forecasting, etc.)

Hands-on experience running data science projects and designing architectures for advanced analytics

Experience acting as the trusted technology advisor of an enterprise software organization to a customer

Demonstrated experience of driving tangible outcomes in enterprise customer software sales

Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.

Education : Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 137300-294000

USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
