The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing strategy, team management, and have a deep understanding of the digital media landscape.
Essential Functions & Outputs
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking marketing strategy that aligns with GO Media's overall business goals and drives brand growth
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable results
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and content to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve the best ROI
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies, making data-driven decisions to enhance outcomes
- Experience with or the ability to quickly learn and integrate marketing strategies within a Learning Management System (LMS) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior marketing strategy role, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing plans that drive business growth
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a marketing team
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- In-depth understanding of digital media trends and best practices, with experience in multi-channel marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Experience with or willingness to learn and implement strategies within an LMS environment is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory
