Steel Warehouse Worker (Loader/Unloader) 2nd Shift

GO Personnel is Currently Hiring Steel Warehouse Workers (Loader/Unloader)

Position: Steel Warehouse Loader/Unloader

Pay: $20.00 per hour, up to $25 after hire

Type: Temp-to-Hire (Temp-to-Perm)

Must pass background and drug screen

Job Responsibilities:

· Loading and Unloading

· Operate forklifts to load/unload steel products from trucks and within the warehouse.

· Securely stack and arrange steel products on pallets.

· Verify the quantity and quality of shipments.

· Inventory Management:

· Accurately record product details.

· Keep steel inventory organized.

· Report damaged or defective products.

Safety Procedures:

· Follow all safety protocols.

· Wear appropriate safety gear (steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses).

· Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.

Other Duties:

· Assist in cutting or bundling steel products.

· Perform maintenance checks on equipment.

· Follow proper labeling and tagging procedures.

· Pull products based on daily orders.

· Keep products separated, organized, and in good rotation.

· Monitor product quality and report problems.

· Operate various pieces of equipment (e.g., Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader).

· Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Work Hours & Pay:

· Second Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

· Full-time: Temp-to-hire position.

· Weekly Pay: $20.00 per hour, up to $25.00 after hired by our client.

Qualifications:

Physical Ability: Lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, operate forklift equipment.

Attention to Detail: Accurate counting and identification of steel products.

Basic Math Skills: Calculate quantities and weights.

Forklift Certification: Preferred.

Safety Awareness: Understand warehouse safety procedures.
