Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and transport materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly and safely.
- Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform minor mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Handle materials in accordance with company policies and procedures for materials handling.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
