Pikes Peak Brewing Company is looking for two part-time Server I team members to join our front-of-house crew. As a Server I, you’ll be the face of our brewery—creating a welcoming environment and delivering top-tier service to every guest who walks through our doors. Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining cleaning standards and a welcoming environment.
· Greet customers, explain menu items, make recommendations, and share beer stories, styles, and ingredients.
· Properly pour and serve drinks, prepare and serve food, and provide both bar and table service to guests.
· Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash transactions in compliance with established SOPs.
· Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and side-work tasks as assigned, following FIFO protocol for food handling.
· Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to all local and state regulations (TIPS certification required).
· Change kegs safely, requiring heavy lifting as needed.
· Stay informed about taproom events, beer releases, and general happenings to communicate effectively with guests.
· Participate in ongoing education, including completing Cicerone Level 1 Certification and attending taproom beer training classes.
· Cooperate with FOH and BOH staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
· Inventory and manage incoming items and address any issues impacting the guest experience.
· Follow all health department rules, regulations, and customer service guidelines.
· Act as a barback or assist in other roles as needed.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· TIPS certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
· Enthusiasm and passion for craft beer.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to participate in continued education and uphold company values.
