We're seeking a passionate, team-oriented individual to join our crew as a Server II – a key player in delivering unforgettable experiences at Pikes Peak Brewing Company. This role goes beyond pouring beers—it’s about leading by example, supporting your team, and sharing your love of craft beer with every guest.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable guest experience.
· Uphold cleaning standards while managing multiple tasks and staying guest-focused.
· Effectively communicate with team members and management to foster a positive work environment.
· Properly pour and serve drinks, prepare and serve food, and provide both bar and table service to guests.
· Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash transactions, discounts, comps, and deposits.
· Execute and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and side-work tasks.
· Ensure compliance with local and state alcohol service regulations (TIPS certification required).
· Communicate GPB core values, beer stories, styles, and ingredients to guests.
· Stay informed about taproom events, beer releases, and promotions, and relay this information to guests.
· Safely change kegs, involving heavy lifting as needed.
· Participate in ongoing education, including Cicerone Level 1 Certification and beer training classes.
· Execute opening, shift change, and closing procedures, ensuring operational efficiency.
· Delegate side work and manage server sections based on business needs.
· Train new employees and coach servers to maintain performance standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must be a current GPB or PPBC employee.
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· TIPS certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
· Passion for craft beer and a commitment to embracing the company’s culture, mission, and vision.
· Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Reliable transportation.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to multitask, delegate, and maintain a guest-first attitude.
