About the Role


Events & Community are key pillars of GoAudience’s GTM strategy and one of our strongest lead generation channels. As the GoAudience Events & Community Manager, you will own the entire events & conference funnel, define and manage the global events strategy to align business objectives and demand generation through impactful owned and sponsored events, build the annual events roadmap, manage and execute company marketing events including industry trade-shows, conferences, owned virtual and in-person events.


You will support the planning and execution of these events and field marketing activities in the US, Collaborate closely with the marketing, operations and sales teams to drive a qualified pipeline through various event-based campaigns.


In this role, you will create and maintain a vibrant, engaged community around GoAudience. Connecting founders, brand teams and members from the DTC space, you will take the lead in organizing channel activities and hosting events/workshops to keep them engaged and helpful to one another — both virtual (e.g., webinars) and in-person (e.g., trade shows, intimate dinners, quarterly events) — that bring our community together to learn, connect, and have fun.


Your efforts will be pivotal in building brand loyalty, increasing customer engagement, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment.


This role entails full ownership of the project, including building and leading a team responsible for managing the channel, communications, and operations.

Responsibilities:


Plan and Execute Events:


  • Scout, Organize, run, and host both virtual events (e.g., webinars, live shows) and in-person events (e.g., trade shows, workshops, customer gatherings, and networking events).
  • Develop and manage an event and webinar calendar, including promotion plans, stakeholder alignment, and success metrics, KPIs.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as timelines, sponsorship details, vendor management (venues, F&B, swag, collateral, travel), and budget tracking.
  • Assign responsibilities and reporting for events attendees from GoAudience teams (outside of NYC).


Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:


  • Work with Sales, Account Executives, and other internal teams — including marketing, operations, design, content, and customer success — to deliver impactful event campaigns.
  • Coordinate pre-event outreach and manage post-event follow-ups, ensuring seamless lead handovers to the sales team.


Event Strategy and Optimization:


  • Track, analyze, and report on event performance, offering insights and recommendations for iterative improvements and scalability.
  • Measure event success through key performance indicators and optimize strategies to improve future outcomes.
  • Develop toolkits such as “event-in-a-box” for internal (regional) and external (channel) stakeholders to support consistent event execution.


Drive Community Engagement:


  • Create and maintain a vibrant and engaged community around the brand, leveraging platforms like Slack for event attendees. (Ex: Clay channel, RevGenius, Serial Marketers)
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive community acquisition among both users and prospects within the market.
  • Analyze community growth, engagement, and revenue impact to measure success and refine approaches. Plan and execute community programs and webinars in coordination with channel partners, influences, marketing leads, and GoAudience team on different programs (ex: Educational, Growth, CSM, Product).


Support and Representation:


  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution and represent the brand effectively.
  • Hold pre-event briefings and engage with the target audience during events to support the sales team in achieving their goals.
  • Hire and run teams of partnerships and community specialists/managers to fuel growth.


Insights for Growth:


  • Report on and provide feedback from community engagement and events to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Participate in weekly reporting updates to ensure alignment with cross-functional GTM departments.


Notes:


  • Full-time.
  • Hybrid, 3 days in-person: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (If there is an office setup in your city)
  • Travel 15-20%
  • You will be eligible for benefits in accordance with the company's benefits plans which will include health benefits, PTO, and Parental Leave
  • Compensation: $90K-$110K Base Bonus 20%
  • You will be eligible for equity

  • 3 years of experience managing virtual/in-person events and community programs.
  • Proven experience designing and running events.
  • A builder – you’re comfortable operating with limited resources and structure.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized – you’re a seasoned project manager. From project plans to timelines and budgets, you plan for all scenarios and ensure no detail is missed. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners. 
  • Prior experience managing at least one direct report (preferred)
  • Team player

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
