As a Marketing - Analytics andamp; Insights Specialist you will be a key leader and expert in ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of Googleand#39;s marketing data within several Marketing automation platforms and databases. You will own and drive data governance, optimize operations, lead data standardization initiatives, mentor a team of marketing operations specialists, and act as a champion for data privacy and compliance. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Legal, to ensure that Marketing Automation Operations are leveraged effectively and efficiently to achieve Googleand#39;s marketing objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Also, you will manage user data requests, maintaining strict adherence to privacy laws and user confidentiality. Your daily tasks involve meticulously processing, analyzing, and interpreting the language of these requests, demanding precision, unwavering attention to detail, and a commitment to established procedures. The ability to stay focused while exercising sound judgment when escalating issues is essential for delivering superior results. Marketing Automation Operations andamp; Optimization:
Audit and optimize Marketo workflows to ensure best practices are followed and resolve data sync and processing issues
Partner with Engineering to improve Marketo performance, scalability, and integration with other marketing automation platforms, such as Marketing Studio and Gamma
Oversee the development and implementation of automated solutions to improve data quality and operational efficiency
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within Marketo and related Marketing systems
Data Governance andamp; Compliance:Define and enforce data standardization rules and governance policies within Marketo across all relevant teams
Oversee the management of Marketo segmentations and central smart lists to ensure accuracy and efficiency at scale. Oversee the expansion of these segmentations into new automation tools and platforms
Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation and data dictionaries for all Marketo data and processes
Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DMA) within Marketo
Understand global compliance and data privacy regulations and their impact on business operations
Develop, monitor, and iterate centralization automations and processes to increase compliance protections
Represent the data privacy and compliance department with Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Engineering teams to ensure compliance is honored
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new marketing initiatives or changes to existing processes
Stay up-to-date on the latest data privacy regulations and best practices
Collaborate with the legal team to interpret and apply data privacy laws and regulations
Data Integrity andamp; Hygiene:
Develop and implement proactive measures to maintain marketing database integrity within Marketo
Lead efforts to troubleshoot data discrepancies and identify and address sources of bad data
Create and deliver training materials for end-users on Marketo best practices, data hygiene, and available tools
Respond to data subject requests (e.g., access, deletion, correction) in a timely and compliant manner
Participate in the development and implementation of data breach response plans
Reporting andamp; Analytics:
Define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to measure the effectiveness of Marketo campaigns and operations
Provide insightful analysis of Marketo data to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and fulfill their reporting and analytics needs.
Develop and deliver presentations and executive communications on global data privacy and compliance requirements
Monitor, troubleshoot, and report on compliance elements to ensure adherence to data privacy regulations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelorand#39;s degree or equivalent practical experience
7and#43; years of experience in data-driven marketing, marketing/sales operations, strategy andamp; operations, or consulting
5and#43; years of experience with Marketo, including Marketo Certification (Marketo Certified Expert or Marketo Engage Certification)
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team
Strong understanding of data governance principles and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, DMA)
Experience with Salesforce data, segmentation, and reporting for Marketing
Preferred qualifications
The following qualifications are a plus, but transferable skills and experience are equally valuable:
Advanced Google SQL experience in a role requiring business judgment, analytical problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to senior management
Deep understanding of various privacy laws and regulations and their impact on businesses
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Track record of driving process improvement, project management, and successful execution of complex initiatives
