Summary/Objective
The Accounts Payable will help prepare and compile accounts payable reports, maintain general ledger records and work closely with the Controller to complete month and year end closes, tax return and audit requests, and general ledger reconciliations for multiple branches and states,
and analytics as assigned.
Essential Functions
· Prepayments for Inventory or Other Items paid ACH, Check, Credit Card or Wire
· Credit Card Management and GL Reconciliations
· Cash Drawer Management and GL Reconciliations
· Auto Pay Vendor Management
· Bill Entry into ERP system
· New Vendor Setup Best Practices
· Online Vendor Banking Maintenance
· Vendor Credit Applications
· Non-Invoiced Leases and Loan Payments Bill Entry
· Rental equipment data reconciliations, monthly
· Fleet communications with all branches and reporting
· Accounting department task management
· Form 1099 reconciliation, annually
· Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred Education and/or Certifications
· Microsoft Excel including advanced spreadsheet techniques required
· BS in Related Field preferred
· Wholesale distribution experience preferred
· 10 - 12 years Accounts Payable experience preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but training of additional A/P team members may be required.
Work Environment
This is currently work from home position with office visit requirements. You will be provided with a computer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, instant messaging, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of workdays are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. 40 hours per week. Some overtime may we required as necessary

Travel is not required for this position.
