This qualified individual will focus on servicing area contractors with solutions to their construction challenges by selling our broad line of specialty products, rental equipment and job site services. This position will be focused throughout the state of Illinois The ideal candidate would have a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry with experience or knowledge of concrete placement, forming systems, construction drawings and specifications. They must also possess interpersonal communication skills and have a proven record of time and territory management. Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions.

Essential Functions

- Sales calls to prospective customer accounts
- Establish and maintain good relationships through frequent sales calls with existing customers
- Assist in customer training of new product offerings
- Review plans and specifications for new construction projects and prepare quotations to prospective bidders
- Follow-up with low bidders on awarded job contracts
- Communication with Inside Sales team and Operations on specific requirements for materials and delivery
- Resolves customer issues by researching concerns, creating solutions and partnering with management.
- Construction degree preferred
- Driver’s license required
