Job Description

GoExceed is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to play a critical role in our software development process. In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering and the product management teams to plan, execute, and report on testing initiatives across the development lifecycle. The focus will be on ensuring robust, high-quality releases of product enhancements and new features.

Successful performance will require working alongside teams to proactively identify and diagnose issues, documenting and tracking defects, validating fixes, and providing ongoing test status to stakeholders. Essential Duties

• Review product specifications and requirements to identify test scenarios and use cases
• Execute test cases and document results to identify defects and deviations from expected behavior. Log bugs in the tracking system through resolution.
• Perform end-to-end testing to proactively detect software failures so they can be diagnosed and fixed.
• Manage multiple concurrent testing projects with different priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the development team to thoroughly document findings, defects, and requirement variances.
• Validate implemented features and functionality match product requirements and specs.
• Communicate testing status, risks, issues, defects, impacts regularly to stakeholders.
• Partner with business owners and end users to understand needs, answer questions, and provide application instructions.
• Contribute to evolving test processes, frameworks, and automation strategies for continuous improvement. Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing across the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. product managers and software developers) to stay up to date on new features, documentation and releases
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and preparation from diverse sources including databases, APIs, and flat files, leveraging SQL, Excel, and PowerBI to clean and analyze data, with proficiency in writing DAX expressions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• 3 years of experience as a hands-on QA tester or equivalent
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem diagnosis skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
