ACCOUNTABLE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains organizational certifications, e.g., PART145 Repair Station, EASA, TCCA
- Responsible for complete overall operation of the repair station managing 145 compliance of Quality and Maintenance.
- Ensures that repair station complies with all applicable FARs.
- Provides financial oversight to ensure the operation can be performed in accordance with all regulations and policies.
- Ensures competent and properly trained personnel pertinent to the operation of the repair station.
- Responsible for providing adequate housing, tooling, equipment, and facilities and their continued maintenance.
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient number of supervisors are present to oversee work to be performed.
- Will maintain an official Management, Supervisory, and Inspection Personnel Roster.
- Responsible for the continuous development and implementation of quality procedures and development of a sustainable quality-based program that meets or exceeds company and customer requirements.
- Directs quality training initiatives in accordance with training program.
- Directly responsible for the overall operation of Quality and Maintenance departments.
- Responsible for devising a record-keeping system for calibration of inspection tools and precision test equipment rented, leased, employee-owned, or company-owned.
- Responsible for contract maintenance provider approvals, taking steps to ensure that established check periods are not exceeded, maintaining a list of maintenance functions, and notifying the CHDO.
- Devises and maintains an annual internal audit surveillance program using applicable FARs, customer requirements, and ITC policies and procedures.
- Devises and maintains a record-keeping system for issuance, check, and control of inspection stamps used at the repair station. Ensures that the established check periods are not exceeded, and the integrity of the stamp is acceptable.
- Responsible for overseeing the Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) program.
- Responsible for maintaining capability list. Performs required evaluations and notifies the CHDO about changes in capability list for their required action.
- Ensures compliance with any air carrier requirements including required training under those requirements.
- Responsible for the Corrective Action Program.
- The Accountable Manager may delegate duties assigned to a qualified employee as necessary; However, such delegation does not relieve the Accountable Manager of the overall responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience in a senior operational role within a Part 125, 135, or 121 air carrier.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certificate required.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including Part 125 requirements and safety standards.
- Proven leadership ability with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external regulators.
- Experience managing compliance with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and quality assurance programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
- Must pass background screening and airport screening (SIDA Badge).
- Ability to work onsite at TOL.
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to be on your feet or sit down for extended periods of time.
