Duties
- Manage incoming calls and communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze transportation routes and schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Utilize GPS technology for route planning and tracking.
- Coordinate fleet management activities to ensure proper vehicle maintenance and availability.
- Input data into internal systems for tracking shipments and managing logistics.
- Monitor freight movement and address any issues that may arise during transit.
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall dispatch operations.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Proven experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.
- Familiarity with GIS systems and GPS technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of transportation planning principles and fleet management practices.
- Proficient in using software for logistics management, and in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
