About the Role:
As a Contract Float School Nurse, you will be assigned to a full-time contract where you will float between multiple schools as needed to provide essential health services. Your responsibilities will include primary health and emergency care, medication administration, treatment management, and accurate documentation of all student health encounters. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment, implementing communicable disease control procedures, and ensuring student wellness.
What You Can Expect:

Preferred Experience:
✔ Experience in pediatrics or community health is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

✔ Active Delaware Registered Nurse License (or compact state).
✔ Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
✔ Current BLS certification.
✔ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with young students and parents.
✔ Knowledge of pediatric nursing and child development.
