Going Places Travel is a growing travel management organization with expanding plans. We have grown to 5 office locations in the past 4 years, and we will continue to expand! Our current 5 locations are Berkeley (headquarter), Danville and La Jolla in California as well as two offices in Alaska, Anchorage and Wasilla.

We are currently looking for an experienced corporate/leisure agent who is fluent in Sabre and is comfortable working in the office as well as virtually with all other team members in other office locations. This position will be based in our HQ - Berkeley office.

Desired skills include:

• Comfortable working in Sabre Red 360 as a ticketing agent
• Skilled in selling travel services to both corporate and leisure clientele
• Must be well organized, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and phone skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented for trip research and cost comparisons.
• Knowledge of FIT planning, hotels, cruises, and tours.
• Self-motivated on problem solving and learning new skills.
• Open-minded and a team player.
• Professional demeanor and teamwork attitude

Competitive salary based on experience, agent incentives based on sales, benefits including 5% commission on everything you book, 401K, paid vacation/sick time, medical insurance and supplemented FAM trips.

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.

The travel benefits could allow you to travel the world.
