GOJET AIRLINES - ONSITE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
LOCATION – ST. LOUIS, MO, HQ
GoJet Airlines is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical assistance to employees at our main office and other local company locations as needed. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues while ensuring excellent customer service and support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT experience (2 years preferred).
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Experience with desktop support and troubleshooting (Windows OS, macOS a plus).
- Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switches, routers).
- Familiarity with peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Experience with antivirus and malware protection solutions.
- Cloud computing experience (Azure preferred).
- Proficiency with remote support tools such as MS Remote Help & Remote Assist.
- Knowledge of MS Intune device management (preferred).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide onsite IT support for employees across various locations.
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance tools.
- Document all support activities in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate issue tracking and resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system application issues.
- Administer and manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including user accounts and permissions.
- Support network infrastructure, including TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Assist with asset and inventory management for IT equipment.
- Provide support for MS Intune devices (preferred).
- Ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate IT personnel.
- Perform occasional after-hours support as needed.
- Lift and transport IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
