Manages relationships with suppliers with a focus on improvement of product quality. Implement supplier root cause corrective action to ensure quality issues are understood and corrected Perform audits to ensure compliance with GOJO quality standards and external regulatory requirements.

Role Objective
Manages relationships with suppliers with a focus on improvement of product quality. Implement supplier root cause corrective action to ensure quality issues are understood and corrected Perform audits to ensure compliance with GOJO quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Adherence to global sourcing policies and procedures
- Provide suppliers timely nonconformance data for rejected product.
- Ensure appropriate supplier corrective and preventative actions are implemented and shown to be effective in addressing quality deficiencies.
- Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to address issues identified by suppliers relating to Design, Manufacturability, or Quality Requirements.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
- Create monthly reports.
- Work with credit and debit memos.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality management systems and manufacturing processes for adherence to industry standards and GOJO requirements.
- Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support and act as a liaison to internal teams (e.g., purchasing, sourcing, manufacturing) on supplier quality matters.
- Continuously improve supplier quality processes to ensure a resiliant supply chain.
- Support and coordinate new product activities and direction to optimize the transition from new product development to production by promoting early supplier involvement at project development stages
- A Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical discipline is required
- Minimum three (3) years of Manufacturing Engineering or Supplier Quality Engineering experience, preferably in a fast paced consumer products industry
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA)
- Experience using ERP software required; SAP preferred
- Experience with materials, manufacturing technologies, and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, plastics, chemicals, packaging/labels, electronics, etc.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Able to facilitate work with multi-functional groups to get results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
