The position will also provide product knowledge training to both internal staff and customers and serve as a product technical resource.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct outside sales activities, both in store and in the field.Thorough understanding and execution of the Seven Steps of Customer ServiceResponsible for the completion of all transactions initiated by onsite contactsCustomer contact reporting and documentation regarding concerns, issues, opportunities and praiseTroubleshooting and resolution of product or customer relation opportunitiesOrganize product knowledge training opportunities for internal staff and customersDaily / weekly scheduling of infield activitiesSeeking out new business opportunities and relationships to expand the company's customer basePromoting and marketing, the company's philosophy, abilities, services and products to the store's local communities and marketExtending information and knowledge to customers about current and new industry products that the company can supply to support the customers to be successful in their projectsMaintain profit and store objectives as directed by managementSKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required. College degree in Business or Marketing or extensive building materials / hardware industry experience is preferredMinimum 2 years' experience in the building materials / hardware industryAbility to read and understand construction blueprints and the ability to convert the plans into a building materials listAnalytical and observational skills that demonstrate the ability to close a saleGood organization, time management and prioritizationAbility to work within a team environment to accomplish both store and company goals while fostering a cohesive team environmentEffective communication skills; including speaking and writing on technical and business topicsGreat customer service and interpersonal skillsEpicor Eagle experience is a plusCompensation details : 60000-60000 Yearly Salary
