This role is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and training of environmental, health and safety programs for all team members while ensuring compliance with company, federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
As an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Gold Bond Building Products, you will serve as a key resource in providing leadership and direction to establish a meaningful vision for environmental, health and safety within our organization. This role is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and training of environmental, health and safety programs for all team members while ensuring compliance with company, federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the identification, development, administration, and enforcement of company EHS policies and programs.
- Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in EHS regulations, laws and reporting requirements.
- Ensure site EHS training is current and in compliance with EPA, OSHA and other local, state, or federal regulatory requirements.
- Manage stormwater, water intake, site waste disposal & title V air permit compliance.
- Ensure compliance to company EHS audit standards.
- Lead the development of safe & environmentally sound work procedures.
- Manage the EHS inspection program for facilities, machinery, safety equipment, stormwater & SPCC.
- Review plans and specifications for projects & construction of new machinery or equipment.
- Lead the plant Safety Committee.
- Provide development opportunities for all site associates in EHS leadership, knowledge, training, observations, inspections, investigations, etc.
