SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the officer will observe and report any and all unusual activities within the casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Responsible for observing and video taping of all casino activities.
• Responsible for detecting any patrons or employees engaged in cheating or any other criminal activities.
• Responsible for protecting Casino assets.
• Responsible for making sure gaming rules and regulation are being followed.
• Responsible for keeping a daily log.
• Responsible for watching the entire soft and hard count.
• Responsible for watching all drops of machines and tables.
• Responsible for keeping live monitoring of all card games.
• Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is responsible for compliance with the Casino’s internal control policy and procedure as it relates to the positions stated job description.
Must be able to fill out a daily log. Must be able to write an incident report. Must be able to watch monitors for long periods of time. Must present a positive attitude while working at the casino. Must have good verbal communication skills on the phone. Must know policies and procedures in the surveillance department and other departments also. Must be willing and able to work on a rotating shift.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
