Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team.
Duties
- Keep the daily loading schedule in order and running smoothly
- Check in/out domestic and export trucks (hay as needed) implementing GoCanvas
- Facilitate washout payment for drivers
- Make sure pre-trip trailer inspection is completed
- Finish proper paperwork for drivers when loaded, including sealing of trucks and add field, grower, bin, variety, and estimated cull CWT if necessary
- Data entry into GDD Database
- Complete Daily Run Sheets
- Keep daily records of all out-going potatoes during shipping season
- Keep inventory and track potatoes for all growers on a daily basis
- Track carry-over loads daily
- Complete Yellow Sheet using Bills of Lading and by tracking cellars, fields, bins, variety, grower, hauling, labor, potato weight and estimated cull weight daily during shipping.
- End of day reporting
- Assist with reception duties – phones, scale, etc.
- Assist Shed Manager and Office Staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Previous office experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
