Work on-site at our Fall River, MA location as our first OTC (Order-to-Cash) IT Functional Analyst where you will partner with core IT team and systems users to support and enhance SAP OTC processes, participate in software product evaluations, project planning, application integrations, implementation, testing, trouble shooting, and support of the SAP platform. This position requires strong communications, planning and technical skills working directly with various levels of the company. As this is a newly created position, you'll have the opportunity to shape the role and contribute to GMB's exciting growth journey!!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements effectively.
- Analyzes and translates business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Works closely with development teams to ensure delivered solutions align with meet business objectives goals.
- Identifies areas opportunities for process improvement and proposes practical solutions.
- Creates and maintains detailed comprehensive project documentation, including use cases, user stories, and flow charts diagrams.
- Performs gap analyses and recommends strategies to optimize system performance.
- Conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) and provides training as necessary.
- Continually assesses the impact of emerging SAP technologies and evaluates their business value for IT leadership.
- Builds strong cross-departmental relationships to drive the strategic use of SAP applications for business growth.
- Implements project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure best practices in application lifecycle management, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Ensures all work complies with regulatory standards, policies, procedures, and organizational objectives.
- Stays informed on updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Supports training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and across the organization.
- Performs all other related assignments and training of other employees as required.

Experience/Preparation and Training
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and technical experience..
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus.
- SAP experience is a plus as data used comes from SAP applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, writing and documentation skills.
- Must have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be able to lead and/or actively participate in assigned projects or business improvement deliverables.
