Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to achieve company objectives in Customer Service, quality of service, and smooth operations of Promotional Events. Our Marketing Coordinator helps create a positive, exciting environment for our guests. This is an entry level position that will allow you to learn casino marketing while having fun executing promotions and interacting with our guests in relaxed atmosphere. Some casino/guest service experience is preferred but not required – upbeat personality, positive attitude and ability to learn are the most important qualities to perform this job.
Summary:
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Execute Player promotions with an upbeat, positive attitude.
- Ensure all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
- Promotes the Player’s Club and Casino promotions.
- Calls Bingo and accurately completes paperwork tracking winners.
- Assists managers with input of sensitive data entry into players’ accounts.
- Maintains inventory and implements control of Players’ Club merchandise and promotional materials
- Resolves customer complaints/issues in a professional, friendly manner.
- Assists in coordination and execution of Players’ Club promotions.
- Directs events and promotions to increase guest visits and casino play.
- Assures that a consistent offering of special events, tournaments and promotions is scheduled for our casino customers and all rules and log sheets pertaining to event are complete
- Ensures that all Casino Marketing efforts are properly coordinated with other departments.
- Assist in the implementation of Casino marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, and campaigns.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to gaming requirements of the Casino.
- Maintains confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests, employees, and company assets.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiar with standard office equipment including copier, scanner, and desktop computer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiar and comfortable with Social Media campaigns.
- Ability to learn proprietary programs.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Language Ability:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language
Math Ability:
- Good math skills; ability to calculate money accurately
Certificates and Licenses:
- The ability to obtain a Gaming Registration Card
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 20lbs
- Ability to work in a noisy, smoky casino environment
- Ability to work in a small, confined, office-type setting
Knowledge/Skills:

- Ability to handle cash, calculate accurately, analyze, and account for cash and coin
