Reporting to the Unit Manager : Technical Services at St Ives, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Mine Planning Engineering Departments, playing a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing mine planning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of gold resources. You will contribute to organisational success by delivering optimised mining forecasts for underground and open pit mining operations through pragmatic, effective, and collaborative mine planning. These range from the short-term (implementation) through to medium-term (3 years) requirements (including annual budget forecasts) aligned to mine life of mine & strategic direction of the business.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off, 4 days on 3 days off roster, as either a residential within the local community or fly in fly out from Perth.
