Summary:
The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist owns Goldbelt’s digital marketing strategy, driving SEO, paid campaigns, website optimization, and analytics. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing Goldbelt’s digital presence, ensuring performance-driven improvements across websites. The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with hands-on expertise in digital marketing, website management, and performance analytics.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in WordPress website management and web analytics tools
- Strong expertise in SEO, paid digital advertising, and data-driven marketing
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including accessibility and security standards

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience with SEO, paid digital advertising, and analytics tools
- Ability to occasionally travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Possess strong photography and videography skills for capturing high-quality images and videos
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred for hands-on web updates
- Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
- Previous government contracting experience

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Website & Content Strategy:
- Leading all website update requests for Goldbelt.com and managing the content strategy and potential revamp
- Managing and optimizing Goldbelt’s websites, including Goldbelt.com, MyGoldbelt.com, and the intranet
- Overseeing website content updates, structure, and user experience improvements
- Ensuring accessibility, security, and technical best practices for websites.
- Digital Marketing:
- Focusing on website performance, SEO, and paid advertising efforts to enhance engagement and visibility
- Leading Google Ads and paid social media campaigns to drive engagement and conversions
- Implementing and refining content marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing Specialist: focusing on SEO and performance-driven content
- Managing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, and optimization
- Analytics & Performance Optimization:
- Utilizing Google Analytics, Tag Manager, heatmaps, and other tools to drive data-informed decisions
- Monitoring and optimizing SEO/SEM efforts for improved rankings and visibility
- Reporting on campaign and website performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed
