Job Description:
- Receives incoming legal documents and facilitates scanning based on priority
- Reviews scanned records, identifying essential deadlines and information to be noted by attorneys
- Assigns naming based on firmwide conventions and organizes records in the Document Management System according to classification standards
- Electronically saves scanned records, filing documents under their respective client and matter numbers
- Maintain distribution lists for electronic delivery of mail to attorneys and staff
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all firm records and files
- Assists in all other office duties as assigned
Requirements/Skills:
- One (1) year of previous law office experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic personal computer skills and ability to understand and use firm software
- Ability to work well under pressure, a professional demeanor, excellent judgment, superior communication skills, written and verbal, and strong client service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results, and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to work within a team environment
- The ideal candidate should be motivated with the goal of becoming a long term asset within the organization
Educational Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent legal support experience

This role offers a hourly salary and bonus opportunity. The hourly salary range for this position is $17.50-$19.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers a full benefits package.
