Summary :
Responsible for assisting in supervising all aspects of the Count Department, such as table games drops, audit fills and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions and company policies, procedures and controls.

- In the absence of the Count Supervisor, plays the role of Count Supervisor.
- Assist in coordinating and supervises the activities of all Count Employees on property.
- Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls.
- Assist in ensures adequate staffing levels in the Count Department, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining and terminating employees, as needed.
- Ensures the integrity of all Count transactions.
- Assists in table games drops, counting money, and reconciling gaming revenue.
- At time, prepares various reports, including stiff sheets, transfer sheets, audit fills and credit slips; reconciles all totals to the Master Summary; forwards all information to appropriate individual(s).
- Verifies all fills credits and markers.
- Maintains all records, reports and other required paperwork in the Count.
- Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve Count disputes.
- Assist in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all employees under his / her span of control.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Must pose high knowledge in communication via email, writing, receiving and replying to such, both internal and external to vendors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Directly supervises the activities of all Count employees in the absence of the Count Supervisor and at time in their presence. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or GED required. Some college courses in banking and finance or related area preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Must possess effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be extremely number-oriented and computer literate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions, furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
