What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor 7P-7A position at Golden Age Nursing Home?
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in a healthcare facility
- Ensure that patient care meets the highest standards and is in compliance with regulations and protocols
- Oversee special needs patients and develop individualized care plans
- Assist with family planning and provide guidance on reproductive health
- Conduct triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards within the department
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate specimen collection and processing
- Assist with suturing and wound care as needed
Experience:
- Associate degree in nursing or related field required
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including supervisory or leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, protocols, and best practices
- Experience with AHT electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
