JOB SUMMARY To manage all operational activities and ensure the delivery of reliable, quality and timely services to clients at the least costs, in a secure and controlled environment while ensuring maximum profitability and compliance with bank policies and procedures. To direct, administer and coordinate the activities of operations in support of policies, goals, culture, core value and objectives established by the Bank. Major Bank functions reporting to this position are branch operations including New Accounts and Tellers, Bookkeeping, Item Processing and Online Banking and Wire Transfer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports utilization of core banking systems with a focus on processes that improve the customer experience. Reviews daily reports including DDA, CD, ACH, NSF, OD, GL for monitoring. To ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, gain efficiencies, improve operations performance, and mitigate risk. Oversees the efforts of the Teller, New Accounts areas in compliance with the respective rules and regulations. Ensures all branch personnel adhere to bank policies and procedures. Develops and implements procedures and controls to ensure security and accountability and accurate information flow within the organization. Assists in development of and participate in process improvement testing, deposit product testing and core systems testing. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing branch operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPORTING Supervises central operations : Branch Managers (in operations) and all operations staff and exerts effective team building. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Branch Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. ORGANIZATION Make recommendations about possible methods to improve any area of Operations and the Bank as a whole. RELATIONSHIPS Advise and assist officers and staff in their respective functions. Participate with community projects as called upon Maintain confidentiality of Bank and customer information. Have extensive contact with customers, the public and community, and conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
