What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Team Lead - Nectar Line position at Golden Barrel Products?
Essential Job Functions:
- Manages team when supervisor is absent.
- Helps in cleaning work area.
- Coordinates with Nectar Line Supervisor to set production schedule.
- Sets production machinery to product specification.
- Assigns/rotates line duties among team members.
- Checks routing numbers on bags/skids
- Helps with taking samples for quality control as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
- Assists in evaluating team members.
- Documents and maintains proper paperwork.
- Wears the proper safety equipment.
- Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent
Licenses / Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of employment.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Comprehensive operating knowledge of all available processing equipment and processes
- Basic understanding of computers
- Good communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
- Clear decision-making ability
- Basic math skills
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
