What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Production Floater/Industrial Cleaner position at Golden Barrel Products?
Essential Job Functions:
- Cleans all production areas including mopping, using the floor scrubber, wiping down machinery, checking for cobwebs, cleaning drains.
- Cleans all non-production areas including mopping, using the floor scrubber, wiping down machinery, checking for cobwebs, cleaning drains.
- Responsible for producing cinnamon sugar including hanging sugar sack, draw sugar into the mixer, add cinnamon, pack cinnamon sugar into 50lb bags, sew the bags closed and stack the finished bag onto a pallet and fill out all required paperwork.
- Responsible for checking on blenders and tanks to heat and cool product that are in the tanks.
- Responsible for doing certain blends with product by dumping drums, totes and containers into a hopper and ensure the product gets into the correct tank or blender.
- Responsible for performing a CIP on the specialty line/icing line
- Any other duties as requested, directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):
- High school diploma or GED
Equipment to Be Used:
- Forklift, High lift, Rider pallet truck
- Drum dumper
- Floor scrubber
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in food production.
- Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
- Ability to understand and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form as they pertain to production.
- Ability to master basic math skills.
Essential Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking, using tools and performing repetitive actions.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs at a time
- Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines.

Working Hours:
- Standard working hours for 3rd shift are: 9:30pm – 6:00am Sunday through Thursday and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position.
- Overtime may be required, and hours are subject to change based on company needs.
- Employees are required to clock in 10 minutes before the beginning of the shift.
